Adriane John Agustin – Customer Service Specialist
I am Adriane John Sanchez Agustin, but AJ for short. I am a 23-year-old graduate holding a degree in Tourism Management from Mabalacat City College, which is located in the Philippines. I am really eager to share my interest in the Virtual Assistant job that your company offers. The thought of working from home is extremely attractive to me because it is stress-free, flexible place, which I think will help both my personal and professional development.
My journey in customer service began in 2019, when I applied for a service crew position at a fast food restaurant while still in high school. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of helping others and providing excellent service. This passion for customer satisfaction continued as I moved into a call center role while attending college to support my education. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic forced me to leave my job and focus on my studies, as it became increasingly difficult to learn without the usual student-teacher interaction.
Despite the challenges of the pandemic, I found ways to contribute to my community by volunteering to help distribute relief goods from the local government. Although the situation was dangerous, the experience was deeply fulfilling, and it reinforced my commitment to serving others.
During the years I have spent my life, I have come to notice that helping others is one of my true passions and this has influenced the career path I have taken. I recognise that providing great service, be it face-to-face or on the phone, is about hearing, comprehending what one wants, and giving support in time to make someone’s day a bit less complicated.
Through my experience in customer service jobs, mainly as a service crew member and a call center agent, I gained communication and problem-solving skills. These jobs instructed me on the importance of patience, empathy, and keeping a positive attitude, even in stressful situations. My education in these subjects has enabled me to do well in a Virtual Assistant position, where communication and awareness are the top two required skills.
The option of working from home is the reason why I am happy because it gives me a relaxed place where I can concentrate on giving the best virtual support. I am looking for the opportunity to make use of my customer service experience and my capability to deal with new challenges to help your team.
One of the strongest skills that I possess is customer service. Besides that, I have also been equipped with a lot of information and practice in this area. I commit myself thoroughly. I get a kick out of being part of a team effort and fixing problems for others, and I am also capable of planning and running the workflow. I will be a minimum game changer not only to your department but the entire company as well. I am praying these all will come true when I get the position in your company. Aimed career path of being skilled and equally meeting your expectations as a group is for sure blended with my professional ambitions.
