Anngelica Lomboy – Executive Assistant, ESL

Angelica-Lomboy-vaI took a 2-year course in our Province. I studied Computer Science but I wasn’t able to earn my Bachelor’s degree because we’re not financially stable.

I got my first job as an Online ESL Teacher for Korean, Chinese, and Japanese students and worked with them for almost 3yrs. I decided to resign and look for a better-paying job. I had the opportunity to work at a BPO company. I worked as a Customer Service Specialist for a Telecommunication account. After 2yrs of working at a Telco, I got an offer to be a Technical Support Associate which was in line with the course I took in college. It was a pioneer account, however, after almost two years the account was dissolved and the management decided to transfer us to an account that’s more established and willing to take more people. It was a Telco account again, but I decided to just resign because I know how difficult it was.

I got a chance to be an Executive Assistant Specialist at an Australian-based company. After a year, I got married and my husband decided to move to Manila for a better job. I resigned and got the opportunity to work as Fraud & Collection Specialist in a Financial Institute Company.

Angelica-Lomboy-vaWhen the pandemic came, we had to move back to our province. I worked at home temporarily since I was pregnant and we were on lockdown. I gave birth and needed to stop working to take care of my baby. Now that my child is already 1-year old, my mother-in-law came back from abroad for good and agreed to help take care of our daughter while I am working.

I am applying for a work-at-home setup just for my baby’s safety. I saw the job post on Facebook for a Virtual Assistant and I applied for it. Now, I am looking for a job opportunity that will allow me to grow professionally, while effectively utilizing my versatile skill set. I am extremely motivated and passionate about whatever I choose to do. I have strong interpersonal and communication skills and knows how to handle different kinds of people and circumstances.

I’m confident that I will prove to be a good addition to your ever-growing team, not just because of my experience, but also because I love new challenges! I love things that make me grow and develop as a professional. I’m always seeking new things as I believe having that mindset will make me go further than my current achievements in life.

I hope you will consider me as a potential candidate for your team.
