Belinda Holzhauser – CSR, Administration and Sales
I would like to formally introduce myself. My name is Belinda and I’m an Australian woman with strong work ethics who is diligent, reliable and goal oriented. I have a certificate III in Business Administration and Payroll with 6 years of hands on experience and 8 years experience in customer service. I have worked for a diverse range of organisations and would love to share with you the skills that I have acquired through my experience.
My first position was with a commercial construction company that also had two smaller sub business, one in road profiling and the other assessing and quoting insurance repairs with Suncorp, NRMA and multiple other insurance companies.
As you can imagine this was quite a big job for one full time employee with only one other colleague to help with payroll once a week. My duties on a daily basis included general reception responding to phone and email enquiries, allocating and opening all mail, data entry (Myob), accounts payable/receivable, processing financial documents, reconciling monthly accounts, scheduling assessments and reporting quotes, producing professional letters and correspondence, internet banking and bill payments, filing and archiving, ordering and purchasing of office supplies and equipment plus various other tasks.
At the same time I also worked a few evenings per week for a Bookkeeper that was an aspiring Naturopath. I would receive separate bags full of receipts, invoices and bank statements and would perform 2-4 hours of data entry and reconciliation for her business plus two small local cafés using Myob.
I then had a career change and transitioned into Dental administration and assisting for a few years. This involved general reception, customer service, scheduling, maintaining patient confidentiality and records, typing professional correspondence to patients and other health care professionals, preparing invoices, receipts and daily balance sheets, producing itemised health insurance forms, producing procedures manuals and quality staff training.
In the last few years I decided to take a break to go travelling and have just returned from Canada where I have a partner who is an amazing entrepreneur. I also helped him with his business performing various administrative processes.
I have been so inspired by him that I have started studying graphic design and am leaping into the online industry to do what I’m good at while being remote so that I can travel between both countries.
