Carlo Celeste – Healthcare Virtual Assistant, Client Support Expert
I’m Carlo E. Celeste, and I work in the healthcare industry as a client support expert. I have over two years of experience. I’m quite good at figuring out what my clients need and coming up with solutions that make them happier. My aptitude for problem-solving and communication makes me a good fit for customer service positions.
I worked as a service crew member at Jollibee Talomo when I first started out. I learnt the value of cooperation and customer service in this position. I gained knowledge on how to interact with clients, pay attention to their issues, and make sure they had a good experience. I then started working as a customer service representative for Teleperformance. I was a member of a cutting-edge team that offered health insurance services in this capacity. I gained a thorough grasp of health insurance and how it impacts both consumers and providers from my work in member and provider customer service.
I became a Healthcare Virtual Assistant in August 2022, which allowed me to further develop my knowledge in healthcare administration. In this capacity, I oversaw the daily scheduling of patients, ensuring that appointments were well-planned and effective for both patients and clinicians. In addition, I was in charge of processing insurance company payments and uploading Explanation of Benefits (EOB) to provider tools. This called for close attention to detail and familiarity with the invoicing procedure.
I also completed the required paperwork and insurance verifications to guarantee efficient billing procedures. I gained knowledge on how to negotiate challenging insurance standards, which is crucial for the medical field. Another crucial aspect of my work was handling email interaction, where I had to make sure that clients were contacted promptly and had their questions answered. My ability to communicate was further enhanced by this experience, which also emphasised the value of frank and sympathetic exchanges.
At the moment, I am a University of Mindanao student studying for a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing Management. I now have a strong foundation in business principles thanks to this schooling. The Philippine Women’s College of Davao is where I also finished my senior high school education, specialising in the social sciences and humanities.
In addition to speaking English, Tagalog, and Bisaya, I am proficient with a number of software programs, such as NEXTGEN and Availity. My experience has given me a special combination of healthcare knowledge and customer service expertise. I have a strong desire to assist clients, and I promise to give them outstanding support in any positions I take on in the future.
