Daniela Arsenal – General Virtual Assistant, E-Commerce

Hi, I am Daniela Arsenal, you can call me Danie. I’m a wife and a mother to a lovely daughter. I finished my degree in Environmental Science and Technology from the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines and proceeded with my Master’s degree in the same field but have not yet completed the program.

I started my career as an Environmental Monitoring Officer at the Department of Public Works and Highways where I monitor government projects on the application of environmental laws and policies to be compliant and mitigate environmental risk. We collaborate with private contractors and other government agencies such as DENR, DA, and Barangay LGU. I verified information on the permit’s legal requirements and completed the papers, simultaneously followed up with the contractors for required documents, monitor projects by site visitations and conducted Environmental Education Campaign at each site, and created semi and annual reports.

During the pandemic with strict implementation of lockdowns, as job order employees under government agencies who have no work, and no pay policy I need to find a way to have additional income. That’s when I decided to start my own online store as another way of income for the meantime of lockdowns. That’s when I developed my social media management and community management skills where I consistently engage customers by posting and conducting live selling every evening, customer service as I replied to customer concerns through chat and comments posts and solved their problems. At the same time, I discovered as well the project base contract as a Project AI tasker which enhanced my detail-oriented skills, focus, and multitasking skills. And lastly, this is where I discovered the virtual assistant field that my skills would help businesses to leverage their business. I continued improving my skills in E-commerce specifically in dropshipping which I learned integrations of Shopify store development and how dropshipping works from finding winning products, product listings, and Shopify store creations to order fulfillment.

I guess my future plan to be a professor has been turned upside down as I discovered the virtual world. I must say the world is so big including the online world. That’s when I decided to enhance my skills and take any challenge ahead. This decision has established a new version of Daniela as the tech-savvy, reliable assistant, and multitasker, who thinks outside the box, and passionately improves skills to be a Super VA that the client need. I’m a tech-savvy professional. I’m very comfortable using software systems, programs, and tools for clients’ needs. I’m eager to learn more skills and continue to grow my skills in the e-commerce field. I’m confident that my business enthusiasm and technical skills will serve me well as a virtual assistant. I’m ready to assist clients to leverage their business with my skills.
