Ella Marie Acebes Po – CSR and Administration
Hi! I’m Ella and I will be a great addition to your team.
My broad experience ranges from customer service, accounting, banking and finance, through to administration support, purchasing and teaching.
I have been in the customer service industry for more than ten years. My last experience was as a Virtual Assistant – office-based for an Australian company. I provided back-office administration and support which includes liaising with financial institutions like banks, fund managers and insurance providers, superannuation and insurance data collection. I also transcribed voice and non-voiced recorded file notes to name a few of my tasks.
One reason I particularly enjoy this ‘virtual’ business – and the challenges that go along with it – is the opportunity to connect with people and the chance for me to gain more knowledge in every task that I complete.
Some things about me…
I am passionate about my family, especially my kids. I have 3 boys and 1 girl, all adults. We love to do stuff together like watching movies, going out for lunch or dinner, karaoke and out of town trips.
I love to cook and I also love to read. I learned English through reading and I believe it’s the best way to learn.
I love pistachios and it’s the one thing I’m not willing to give up!
If given the chance I would like to go back to July 13, 1985 and witness how QUEEN stole the show at Live Aid. Freddie Mercury was just amazing.
Someday, I would like to go to Turkey because it is beautiful and culturally rich. They have historical sites you can visit, and special activities you can enjoy. It’s modern enough to be comfortable, yet traditional enough to be interesting.
How I can help you…
I understand that every hire is a risk for the company BUT I believe I’m worth that risk, because aside from possessing both skills and experience I know I can do the work and I can deliver the best, if not exceptional, results and I know I will fit in beautifully and be a great addition to your team.
My years in the customer service industry has taught me a lot of things. It showcased my skills and personality. I have learned that to be kind is more important than to be right. Many times what people need is not a brilliant mind that speaks but a special heart that listens. That is why for me empathy is one of the most important leadership skills needed today. Being personable, motivated and friendly are critical traits that I am proud of. No matter how educated, talented, rich or cool you believe you are, how you treat people ultimately tells all. Integrity is everything.
Being keen to details is one of my strengths I can brag about, and I make sure that every day I get better, if not yet the best, in everything that I do.
One of the top Filipino fashion designer said that trust is the heart of all relationships. Without trust it all falls apart. The thing about trust is when you give it to the right person, it becomes truly rewarding. Give, give, give. It is true that you gain more happiness doing things for others than doing them for yourself.
Ora et Labora.
