Emily Pampilon – Administrative Virtual Assistant

Hello, I’m Emily Pampilon-Ellazo, but you can call me Emz. I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Fisheries, which I completed in 2011, and I pursued further studies, Masters in Public Administration, earning units in 2021.

My professional journey began in 2012 as an Encoder, and I am currently serving as an Administrative Assistant at State University and Colleges here in our municipality. I have been assigned to the Registrar’s Office, where I manage multiple responsibilities, including serving as the Admission Officer, Scholarship Coordinator, and Registrar Staff. My role as an administrative aide involves a variety of support tasks to ensure smooth operations within an organisation.

As a registrar staff:

  • Prepare enrollment report summary
  • Prepare a list of graduating students
  • Organise Student Records and safeguard sensitive information, such as student records or personal data, and ensure that it’s handled appropriately and securely

As admission officer:

  • Evaluates applications from students and decides whether to admit them to the college
  • Assessing applications according to our eligibility criteria
  • Organising and filing of submitted requirements

As scholarship coordinator:

  • Preparation of Memorandum of Agreement, Grades and Payroll of the scholars
  • Provide information and resources regarding scholarship programs offered

I pride myself on being a highly adaptable, and quick learner, which allows me to easily understand new concepts, tools, or processes. Whether it’s mastering new software, understanding complex workflows, or adapting to different work environments, I am able to pick up skills and information efficiently.
