Hilfe Regala – Customer Service Representative

I’m Hilfe Morales-Regala, and you can call me Faye. I love my name because Hilfe means “help” and Faye means “fairy” so I’m going to be your Help Fairy!

I am an educator by profession. I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Elementary Education and have taken a Diploma of Early Childhood Education in Graduate school. I love teaching so I immersed myself in teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) for 4 years, teaching both face-to-face and online students of different cultures (Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Filipino). My experience has honed my skills in English language proficiency, adaptability, organisation skills, multitasking skills, communication, and time management. Teaching is indeed a very honourable profession. One thing I learned from it is that “you need to follow your passion so it could lead to your purpose in life”.

Young as I was back then, I decided to find a greener pasture. I decided to find something challenging and different from the world of teaching so I decided to join the BPO world to find my purpose. I became a customer service representative under a telecommunications account in Australia. For the first year, I was under a Philippine company but the next 4 years, I was directly hired by this Australian company and I was so grateful because this experience opened my eyes to the world of possibilities and opportunities.

As a customer service specialist, my daily goal is to genuinely help and care for every customer I talk to and make them smile. Because of that, I have received excellence awards in delivering exceptional service. This experience honed my skills in world-class customer service, excellent multitasking skills and time management, detail-oriented skills, flexibility, and outstanding communication skills with a positive attitude. I then realised my purpose which is to live up to my name “to help others”. This has become my core – to genuinely help and support those who need my service. Also with my pursuit of success, I realise how important it is to become a woman of value and attitude because skills can be developed but attitude and values cannot.

I sure have so many things to learn and I always value continuous improvement so this time I am taking this new chapter of being a virtual assistant. I looking forward to exploring the VA world opportunities. I know I can contribute as a hardworking and goal-oriented individual. I also believe that I could be a great addition to your team, as not only do I have experience but I also have a strong foundation and values which make me a very strong candidate and a potential asset to your company.
