Katherine May Pajadan – Bookkeeper & Administration Officer

Katherine May PajadanLife doesn’t always work out the way you think it will, but always look for the good in it. Sometimes we can’t change the circumstances, but we can change how we feel about them.

I am Katherine May Pajadan, but I prefer to be called “Indy” and this is my story.

I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy. I easily got into the corporate world right after graduation and spent ten wonderful years in the banking industry. I was a bank officer, managing a group of people and working my way up towards the ladder but then my life took a different direction…

Motherhood changed a lot in me, it was a 360-degree turn but I never regretted it. I had to juggle motherhood and my career so I had to choose between the two.

I left the corporate world and decided to focus on my kids. Being a stay at home mum is quite fascinating. It is a different feeling but along the way, I felt like I was missing something. I was missing a part of me – a part where I challenge myself as an individual trying to achieve something. I had a different career back then before immersing myself into the captivating world of working at home.

I am a well-rounded person. I have been a freelancer for six years now, and I believe it has made me much of an expert in my work. My experiences in a high pressured environment have taught me to have a keen eye to detail, resilience, and flexibility.

Katherine May Pajadan with FamilyI am hardworking, a good listener, a fast learner, and I am very adaptable to changes. I am very organised and I like to be always on top of everything. I ensure that I research information thoroughly before acting upon it. I value clients’ trust and I commit myself to any job taking full responsibility in completing projects on time.

Although my past experience has been within operations, customer relations and support, administration, and accounting, I feel that my skills are evolving and I am happy to learn new ways of working to enhance my competencies for myself and for the company.

I am very flexible in my approach to work and I like working as part of a team as well as on my own initiative. My goal is to grow parallel with the success of the company. I want to secure a position allowing me to further gain experience, develop any expertise needed and make a significant contribution to an institution that offers a genuine opportunity for progression.
