Ma. Julie Anne D. Francisco – Real Estate Administrative Assistant

ma-julie-anne-francisco-formalI’m Ma. Julie Anne D. Francisco, 28 years of age. I’ve been a virtual assistant for almost 2 years now.

Before deciding to work at home, I had gained some work experience in the BPO industry. That experience helped me to conquer my fear of talking and facing other people. Throughout the 7 years of working, I was able to gain my confidence and believe in myself and learn that you can’t please everybody so you just need to be better in all the things that you do and eventually everything will be worth it.

As a virtual assistant for almost two years for a real estate company, my knowledge started to become broader and wider. I have gained understanding in marketing, selling and buying properties, talking to realtors and knowing the ins and outs in the real estate world.

I must say it’s not easy to let go of a corporate job, the reason why I decided to stay at home is to have a normal life and to spend more time with my family. I really love staying at home because I love to eat, exercise and watch Korean TV.

ma-julie-anne-francisco-vacationAs I grow in this industry, I learned about the importance of communication. For you to be able to have a better relationship with your client, you must know how to read between the lines and you must be a keen observer at all times. My first virtual assistant experience was cold calling in Canada. I never thought I could pull it off since I only had a low-end laptop at that time. I told myself I will invest in this because I know I will benefit from it in the long run.

I enjoyed every day working and helping my client and I’m proud to say that I have never regretted working as a virtual assistant. I’m not stressed thinking about traffic, what to bring to work, what to wear, etc. I’ve become more lively while working and produced good outcomes.

I’m so grateful for all the experiences with my previous clients that I worked with because I learned a lot from them from small details to big ones.
