Marjorie Pascual – Administrative Assistant

Hi! I’m Marjorie. You can call me Jie as my nickname. I am 28 years old. I am a dedicated freelancer seeking job opportunities online. I graduated in 2013 with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management.

To introduce myself, I was born in Gapan, Nueva Ecija. I am a single mother with two kids, ages 6 years and 4 years old. I have 2 brothers and a sister. I am the second among my siblings. My mother is a full time Mom while my father (deceased) was a chief cook (Seaman).

I love to sing, dance, cook, watch movies/tv series, and vlog (just new on this by the way).

Looking back, I was an active and competitive student during my academic years. I joined a lot of affiliations and organizations in the University.

When I was in college I was elected as Secretary of the Supreme Student Council. Being the Secretary of SSC I was able to keep accurate records of the minutes and document proceedings of every meeting, Call and prepare all notices of SSC meetings, and perform such other duties assigned by the SSC. I attended the Leadership Training Seminar when I was in college. And conducted my On-the-Job Training in National Irrigation Administration.

I am also a certificate holder of Technical Education Skills and Development Authority (TESDA) which is a National Certificate in Events Management Services III (NC III). I worked 6 months as School Administrator in a Vocational School. I also took online paid training on How to be a Virtual Assistant, Facebook Ads, and Social Media Management. I know I do have not enough skills and knowledge in the freelancing industry. I am very skillful with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

Now, I want to learn more, earn money for a living while staying at home, and look after my children. That is why I am now trying to take a chance on a new platform. I know I am new to this Virtual Assistant thing, but I believe that if I were given the chance, I’ll succeed.

I’m the type of person who is very eager and determined to learn new things. I can multitask, work under pressure – and I’m highly motivated when it comes to working. I have a positive attitude and a genuine heart.
