Mark Kenneth Dela Cruz – General Virtual Assistant

Hi, my name is Mark Kenneth Dela Cruz, but you can just call me Mark. I’m an undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts at Tarlac State University. I currently reside in Tarlac, where I am a breadwinner and actively looking for a job. I have almost 8 years of experience in the industry, combining BPO and VA role working with different campaigns based in the US, UK, and Canada. 

I started back in 2017 as a Customer Service Representative for a financial campaign while being a working student. With no prior experience, I overcame challenges by working double shifts if needed, all for my family. I view every setback as a learning experience and an opportunity to grow. Through hard work and the support of those who believe in my talents and skills, I was soon promoted to Mentor and became part of the training team. 

With the hope of gaining more knowledge and the chance to grow as an individual, I decided to shift to becoming a Virtual Assistant. At first, the adjustment was not easy, but my drive to help my family financially fueled my desire to keep going. I am proud to say that I am still in this industry, continuously learning and growing.

Aside from being an employee, I am also an athlete and a coach who handles a team. I play basketball and volleyball during my free time, representing my hometown. I am the Vice President of SIVC, a club and non-government organisation that helps young athletes achieve their dreams and keeps them away from addiction and harmful vices. Additionally, I am the proud founder of SIPAG, an organisation that promotes equality and assists those in need through outreach programs and activities for causes close to our hearts. 

My main goal every time I wake up is to find my purpose, make an impact, and learn or grow. The same goes for every time I work with a client; my main goal is to make an impact on their business and help them grow. It’s a give-and-take situation.
