Mona Me Dumogho – General Virtual Assistant

My name is Mona. I am 21 years old, independently living and surviving on my own for almost half of my life. I like reading novels and watching movies. My hobbies are doing some experimental dishes. I am much more interested in reviewing legal papers and proceedings. I’m now currently taking AB English Language with a few units so that I will be able to balance work and studies.

Growing up in a poor household where money is very precious, my childhood was robbed by the reality of becoming mature at a very young age. As the eldest daughter, I was assigned as the second parent and shouldered heavy responsibilities. At a very young age, I was taught to earn money and buy food for my family. My father was addicted to alcohol and will always abuse us by hurting us physically. The sad part is he doesn’t care about us. At the age of 14, I moved into the city by myself and worked hard to support my studies and my family as well. At the age of 20, I found a virtual job that really helped me with my financial situation. It helped pay my college tuition bills and other necessities while also supporting my family’s needs. It’s been a tough journey for me. And I was always wondering why life was so hard and unfair. Despite everything, I never thought of giving up; instead, I worked hard. Life is not easy, but we have the purpose to remain strong and brave whatever stumbles on us.

Now I’m finally happy and living in peace; that’s what matters the most. I am now able to enjoy things without worrying others too. This time I chose myself. I have much time to myself now, and I’m currently job hunting so that I’ll be able to sustain both of my wants and needs. Above all, I am beyond grateful for everything; despite facing obstacles and challenges, I am still here, standing proud and celebrating every little achievement I accomplished. Never been so happy about prioritising yourself first. I’ll be turning 22 this December 8. I have set goals and priorities for myself. This time I’ll be more focused and motivated than ever. Hopefully, I will pass this initial test for work. I’ve been aiming to work for this company to sustain my needs and to gain more knowledge from others too.
