Paradyse Miller – Administrative Assistant

paradyse-miller-vaMy name is Paradyse, but my family calls me Parry. I am the oldest among 4 children and 1 of 23 grandchildren with an ever expanding family line. My favorite things to do are sing and dance with my family or lay around watching movies with my boyfriend. My favorite food has changed from Pop-Tarts (to the extent that I would receive boxes for birthdays and Christmas) to now somewhere between chicken and spaghetti. I have a nine year-old pit bull named Boss who believes he’s closer to a puppy age than a senior and will lay all 70 pounds of himself on anyone’s lap.

When I was a child, I used to pretend that I was a secretary, taking patient notes for the “doctors” a.k.a. my cousins. When I got older, I was still the go-to person by my friends. In college, my best friend used to joke that when she made it big, she would hire me because I always keep her on track for her classes, schedule, and other responsibilities.

I have been in the customer service industry since I graduated from college in 2015. My jobs have ranged from weight loss with Jenny Craig as an eChat Specialist to timeshare marketing with Welk Resorts, but the one constant has always been my heart to help. I love to learn new things and work with different kinds of people

paradyse-miller-vaMy current position is an administrative assistant and company licensing specialist for a mortgage company. I have been able to move up due to my ability to “see a need and meet a need” with my team.

As mentioned, I have experience in the customer service field as an administrative assistant, recruiting and training coordinator, chat specialist, etc. I decided to become a virtual assistant because I believe it will allow me to have the flexibility to either supplement my income with my full time job or replace it completely while also doing things that I enjoy. What’s the first thing you think when you walk into a doctor’s office? I think “they can really use a more lean and streamlined check-in system. If they just have patients check-in from their phone, then everything automatically uploads and there is no need for so many documents”- it’s in my blood to organize!

I would love the opportunity to lend a hand and become a part of your team. I believe this is a great opportunity to grow my skill set, broaden my knowledge in different industries, and make a difference in others’ lives in a tangible way.
