Paul Chelsea Lacsamana – General Virtual Assistant

My name is Paul Chelsea Lacsamana, and I’m now living in the Philippines. I am 32 years old. I have one child, who is now five years old, and he lives with me. I earned a bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant management from the Philippine Women’s University.

After I graduated, my sister and I decided to open our own restaurant in our hometown of Baguio City. We had a nice run until the covid-19 pandemic struck our country, and we decided to close our restaurant. So I decided to work for almost 7 years for several BPO companies as a Customer Service Technical Support, Chat Support Specialist, Customer Sales Representative, and Website Manager.

After working in the BPO industry, I decided to work from home as a Social Media Manager and Video Editor. The reason I decided to work from home is that my child is growing up, and I need to work while still managing his education and requirements. Working from home is definitely different from working in an office, but I am confident that this setting is ideal for me and my kid. Aside from caring for my family, I believe that time is one of the most essential things I can provide them, and working from home allows me to do so.

Understanding the company’s culture and climate has been increasingly crucial over the years, as has maintaining a positive attitude and continually providing your all while being accountable for your work in all areas. When you give your all—comprehend, ask when necessary, and be accountable—no situation is too difficult to solve.

Aside from working from home, I also play music in several bars in our hometown on my days off, which helps me and my son earn extra money.

My main dream is for my child to complete his studies and to accumulate enough money to open my own restaurant or café. I’m very passionate about my cooking skills and hope that one day my goal will come true.

I hope to advance in my profession by learning new skills and knowledge that I can apply to both my work and my personal life.
