Rav Deiparine – Mechanical Engineer, Customer Service

I bring four years of professional experience that make me a strong candidate for the Virtual Assistant role. My background includes two years as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) and two years as a Patient Care Coordinator (PCC), both of which helped me develop exceptional communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills. These roles prepared me to handle diverse responsibilities while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

As a CSR, I worked directly with customers, addressing their concerns and resolving issues to build trust and satisfaction. This role taught me how to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, manage high-pressure situations, and maintain professionalism in every interaction. It also sharpened my ability to adapt to different personalities and needs while ensuring that clients received personalised, top-quality service. I developed a strong work ethic and an ability to think on my feet, ensuring that customer expectations were not only met but exceeded.

In my time as a PCC, I focused on administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with healthcare providers. These responsibilities required strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with care and confidentiality. Acting as a liaison between patients and medical teams, I built strong, trusting relationships by demonstrating empathy and reliability in every interaction. My experience in this role also allowed me to hone my organisational and multitasking skills, as I was often required to manage several patients’ needs simultaneously, ensuring smooth workflows and timely responses.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing basketball and video games, which reflect my values of teamwork, strategy, and focus. Basketball has taught me discipline and collaboration, while video games allow me to refine my problem-solving and creative thinking skills. Both hobbies help me stay balanced and energised, which I believe is essential for maintaining productivity and motivation in my professional life. These activities also provide me with an outlet to recharge, allowing me to remain focused and efficient in my work.

More than anything, my work is driven by my hope to create a bright future for my daughter. She’s my biggest inspiration, and I’m committed to working hard to provide her with everything she needs to succeed. At the same time, I fear not meeting her needs, and that fear motivates me to stay dedicated and give my best in everything I do. This personal drive is what pushes me to excel in my professional life.
