Rexmond E. Reyes – General Virtual Assistant

Hello, I am Rexmond E. Reyes, and I am glad to share my experience with you. I just graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of La Salette Inc. My experience of working from home has been fascinating and fulfilling, and I am eager to continue learning and developing in this fast-paced world.

I started as a secretary at ABS-CBN Isabela, where I developed my organisational and communication skills by handling messages, delivering notes, and performing various office tasks. Then, I was an online ESL tutor at Academic Society Online (AcadSoc), where I designed and executed a holistic curriculum that significantly enhanced student test scores. This experience taught me the value of adapting messages to various people and working with various groups.

My experience was more thrilling when I worked in a project-based position with an NGO. In this position, I handled social media posts regarding trends, issues, and tips on saving electricity bills. I came up with engaging posts and edited videos to enhance our content, which significantly boosted community engagement. This experience taught me to share my creative thoughts and make a tangible impact.

Working from home was a new and unknown environment, but I quickly adapted and thrived in this environment. I earned my experience through social media management, graphic design, research, and video editing. These abilities have enabled me to thrive on various projects and assist clients in achieving their goals. I take pride in my capability to work independently and with a team, always seeking to build a positive, productive, and conducive working environment.

Throughout the years, I have realised the importance of company culture and doing the best in every aspect of your work. Having a positive attitude, ownership, and willingness to learn are the secrets to success. No job is too difficult when you approach it with grit and determination.

Working from home has enabled me to balance my professional and personal life. It enables me to spend quality time with my loved ones while I continue to learn and strengthen my skills. I am committed to continuously improving myself and practicing my knowledge in my work and life.
