Ronalyn Almario – Social Media Manager

Hronalyn-almario-vai Ronalyn is the name and Virtual Assisting is my game. I want to be known as a well rounded VA.

I have experienced doing internet research, lead generation, data entry, cold emailing and Social Media Management. My tasks in Social media are to make a content plan and calendar. I do graphics creation primarily in Canva. I am also responsible in captioning my content. I am the one posting and scheduling the content that I’ve created. I know how to do hashtag research specifically in Instagram. I also do data entry in XERO (reconciling and invoicing. Some of the tools I am familiar with are Canva, Filmora9, Trello, GoHighLevel, ClickUp, Later, Hootsuite, LatelySocial and the list goes on.

I am a Chemical Engineering graduate. Prior to delving into the VA world, I worked as a Sales Engineer for 2 years. I handled marketing x-ray fluorescence equipment for mining, plastics, metals, rubber and electronics industry. I did email outreach and cold calling to potential clients with the aim of setting an appointment with key decision makers to demonstrate how our products work.

My first homebased job was an ESL teacher. I am confident with my speaking skills. I am also confident with my writing skills as I passed the tryout to be a news writer in our college school paper. My English competency is C1 Advanced.

ronalyn-almario-vaWondering how I became a Virtual Assistant? It was opened up to me by a college batchmate. She told me about her work-from-home set up. That’s where my desire to be a Virtual Assistant was piqued. To prepare myself, I enrolled in a freelancing course that tackles about General Virtual Assistant task, Social Media, Simple Web Design, Content Marketing, Lead Generation, Email Marketing and SEO strategies. I am proud to say that being included as one with an exemplary website was my achievement in this course. I also took up a 5-day Graphic Design Course using photoshop and a Social Media In-Depth Course.

I am the kind of person who is always hungry for new learning. I don’t mind investing if it means the betterment of myself professionally. I am the type of person who always strives to deliver what is asked of me. I don’t stop until I get things done. I have worked with various clients; American, Nigerian and Australian. I can work well on my own and I am also open for collaborative work. I am very receptive to feedback and takes things constructively. I am not easily disheartened. I am willing to walk the extra mile.
