Rose Ann Torres – Virtual Assistant

Hi there! My name is Rose Ann Torres, but you can call me Rose. I am a mother of two beautiful daughters. My husband and I, together with our 2 kids and our American Bully pet named “Patches,” lives in Antipolo, City Philippines.

I’m a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center Inc. I have rendered one year of service in the Health and Medical field before working as a Project Development Officer serving a local community for almost a decade.

As a Proj. Dev. Officer, my roles were mostly doing administrative tasks such as but not limited to managing 800 family’s data and continuously updating them with precision. Preparing report presentations and facilitating meetings with partner stakeholders and clients. Counselling of clients if needed. Encoding and analyzing data into spreadsheets/excel for presentation to partners. Preparation of the team’s monthly calendar of activities depending on the department’s directives. Lastly, as a secretariat part of my task was documentation of meetings and distribution of the minutes making sure every member was on board with the updates.

As a team leader, I did most of the planning, coordination and documentation of our team’s activity and meetings with different dep heads and stakeholders. Also, I have led our team for nine years by accomplishing every tasks and responsibilities with satisfactory remarks from our supervisor every year.

During my tenure, I found great joy and satisfaction in serving and building relationships with the community and have helped them improve their level of well-being. It was during the pandemic when I decided to let go of my previous role when our eldest was suspected to have a delay in her speech development which required me as a mother to be more visible in our home. Coming to this decision was difficult, however at the same I was thankful as it have taught me most of the skills which I never had an idea would be a great use working as a Virtual Assistant.

After, resigning surprisingly I was hired by an Australian Cosmetic Clinic as a Virtual Assistant, Patient- Coordinator. The role held various tasks and responsibilities. This includes the following tasks but is not limited to overseeing the clinic’s social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, where I respond to client inquiries, create and post updated stories using Canva, and engage with comments on posts. Additionally, I handle client emails, forwarding their concerns to the appropriate department within the clinic. It is also my duty to ensure that all existing patient accounts are accurately noted in the Cosmed Cloud CRM system. I coordinate pending client concerns with the clinic and other team members, and finally, I am responsible for scheduling client appointments.

Throughout my career, I have developed my skill in using the following software Microsoft/Google Suite tools (especially Word, Excel/Spreadsheets and PowerPoint) which we used most of the time as a Proj. Dev. Officer, Zoom, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Calendar management, Slack, Whatsapp, Canva, and Meta Business Suite tool.

During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family who are my inspiration in doing my best in everything even with tasks that are new to me. Usually, we watch family-oriented movies and sometimes go out to breathe some fresh air and enjoy nature. One of my greatest dreams is someday to visit Japan with my family. Professionally, my goal is to establish a long-lasting career and relationship with an employer or someone whom I can assist in growing their business, while also learning together.

Transitioning to a virtual assistant role aligns perfectly with my career aspirations while still having time with my loved ones and contributing to our financial stability. I am eager to leverage my skills and experience in this capacity. I am committed to delivering excellence in every task I undertake and thrive in environments that demand accuracy and efficiency.
