Stephen Zabala – Healthcare Customer Service Representative
Hello. My name is Stephen Zabala, but you can call me Steff. I graduated senior high school with honours, taking the strand of Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM) way back in 2018. I wasn’t able to attend college from that time on, as I needed to land a job where I can support myself and my family.
Since 2018, I have been working as a customer service representative. I dedicated myself to working in the BPO industry. Even though my work setup is in an office setting, I am still glad that I had fun working in that environment. The position I had was really a roller coaster ride. I admit that being in this position might really be challenging at some point. I have experience talking to several customers with different personalities. I experienced being shouted at by some people. I even experienced being cursed at some point as well. But even so, I did not take it negatively. I always understood that customers just wanted someone to talk to. Despite this, I am still happy to be working at the office.
A few months later, my office friends whom I cherished had started to leave. This gave me an idea now to work at home. It was never even in the back of my mind to work remotely, as I am afraid that I may not be able to adjust right away, but to my surprise, it’s worth it. I experienced working in a remote setup during the pandemic era, wherein it may be sad at some point, but I’m still glad to have experience working remotely. I didn’t even know that I could adapt to it right away. Sadly, when everything went to normal, it was advised as well to work on site.
Currently, I’ve been looking for available positions where I can work from the comfort of home. I am eager to work in an environment where stress is not even existing. Understanding the company’s value is essential to achieving the team’s success. I know that attitude, integrity, compassion, accountability, and understanding would be great factors in attaining a tension-free environment.
I do believe that working from the comfort of your home is more convenient and will help us to be closer to our families.
My objective is to have a long-term goal where I can broaden my knowledge, skills, and experience. Apply all the life lessons I have. I am aiming to work for a company where we share the same mission and vision.
