I look forward to assisting you with your business needs! I specialise in administrative services, bookkeeping, customer service, travel and event planning. However, you will find me useful in more ways as I will give everything a go to the best of my ability.

I pride myself in being efficient and having integrity, and I always aim for the best result. Anything is possible if you have the right outlook and attitude. Together, we can achieve big things!

My Background

I am a mid-twenties, Australian-born student studying business and accounting in Brisbane, Queensland. Prior to the global pandemic, I had been working and living abroad in numerous countries for 5 years, during which time I was exposed to the nomadic and virtual lifestyle.

valentine-perret-vaMy past work history comes mainly from the hospitality industry where I have learnt many transferable skills and experienced working with others from many different cultural backgrounds. I have worked in a luxury hotel in Scotland as a housekeeper, waitress and front of house attendant; I have worked on a cruise ship as a junior waitress in the luxurious restaurants while sailing the globe; I have worked in Canada in a large mountain resort town, working as a front desk agent to begin with and then shortly was promoted to front desk supervisor and groups coordinator. My last job was working in a corporate hotel back in my home city where I also performed personal assistant duties to the managers. These jobs have proven my abilities to provide exceptional customer service to clients, be proficient at virtual and face-to-face communication, use software systems such as Microsoft Office, booking systems, partner portals and more.

I have been studying through university online since 2017 and am expected to finish my degree majoring in Accounting at the end of 2022. Since studying, I have realised my flare for doing business and administration. I love to be organised and also inspire others to be on top of their to-do lists – there’s nothing more satisfying than ticking a task off as done! My top skills are time-management, flexibility, critical thinking, problem solving and just working hard. I am a fast learner, especially when it comes to new systems and I love to learn new things whenever I can.

Some of my values in life include continual growth, doing good, and having work-life balance. Growth in business is important in order to stay current with the wants and needs of the market. Meanwhile, work-life balance helps avoid burnout, especially if there is someone you can hire to keep things going so you can enjoy the success you have created.
