Vanessa Esposo – Administrative Assistant

Hi there, I’m Vanessa Rainne Esposo but you can call me Van for short and if you want, since it was raining when I was born, you can also call me Rain which some of my friends do. Yes, my mother named me Rainne since I was born in August and it is the rainy season here in the Philippines.

I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Information Technology in a small University here in our town last 2012. I also took up a Certificate in Teaching in the same university after I graduated from college.

After graduation, I had to leave the town where I grew up for 21 years to try my luck in the big city. Imagine, going to a place away from home on your own, is quite a brave move I had to make since I needed to find a job. I went there alone and didn’t have a place to stay so I had to rent a bedspace where I shared a room together with 4 roommates. It was the only place I can afford at that time.

I applied in a BPO company as a Sales Associate where we do Appointment setting from different locations such as US, AU, NZ and SG. I stayed in the company for 3 years. I had to go back home because my father got sick and no one would take care of him. I had to give up the job. After a few months, I decided to work in a local company in our town as a Data Analyst. Since I’m only earning minimum wage ($5/day) in that company, I decided to go back to the city again.

At that time, I worked as a Customer Service Representative in one of the well-known BPO companies in the city which cater to US based clients such as Dish network, which is A cable and internet service provider. I also had experienced Technical support and handling Car insurance accounts based in AU.

I am a career driven person and I can do multitasking. My previous experience has taught me a lot. I just started my VA career last year during the pandemic. I have been a Real Estate VA from US and Canada Based clients.
