Adrian Baracinas – Social Media Manager, Virtual Assistant

Hey there! I wanted to share a bit about my journey to becoming a Virtual Assistant. It’s been quite a ride and I’m excited to tell you about it!

I graduated from the University of Makati with a degree in Tourism Management, thinking I’d dive right into the hospitality scene. However, as I started my career, I quickly realized that my real passion was in using technology to support businesses and make things run smoothly behind the scenes.

During my internship at ProPrime Travel and Tourism Services, I got my first taste of social media management. I was in charge of their online presence, which was a blast! I loved creating engaging posts and connecting with people online. I learned how to analyse what worked and what didn’t, and I started to develop strategies to grow the brand. This experience opened my eyes to the world of virtual assistance, and I knew I wanted to pursue it further.

As I transitioned to freelance work, I faced a few bumps along the way. One memorable moment was when I worked with an e-commerce client struggling to get their social media off the ground. They were on the verge of giving up, but I stepped in and crafted a tailored content strategy for them. It was amazing to see their Instagram following explode from zero to over 7,000 followers in just three months! Seeing their excitement and relief made all the hard work worth it.

What keeps me going as a Virtual Assistant is my commitment to helping clients succeed. I approach every project with enthusiasm and a keen eye for detail. Tools like Google Workspace and Canva have become my best friends, allowing me to streamline tasks and deliver awesome results.

Outside of work, I’m a bit of a fitness enthusiast. I love running and staying active, which helps me keep my energy up and stay focused. I also enjoy playing computer games, which is a fun way to unwind and sharpen my strategic thinking. Whether it’s training for races, going for a jog in the park, or getting lost in a game, I find that these hobbies keep me motivated and refreshed.

I’m all about building strong relationships with my clients. Trust is key in a virtual environment, and I strive to create a space where they feel valued and heard. I love learning new things, too—there’s always something fresh to explore in this field, and I’m here for it!

So, that’s my story! I’m really looking forward to the chance to bring my skills and experiences to your team and continue helping others while growing my career as a Virtual Assistant.
