Andrea Ruth Lagman – General Virtual Assistant, Customer Service

Hi, I am Andrea Ruth Lagman, but you can call me Andy. I am the youngest in my family and have always valued the close-knit relationships we share. I studied Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing Management, at Our Lady of Fatima University. Two years ago, I began searching for a work-from-home job to care for my mom. Following the tragic loss of my older brother in a motor accident, it became crucial for me to be at home, especially since my mom suffered a stroke.

I initially started working from home due to the pandemic, which allowed me to adapt to this new way of life. However, when my company requested a return-to-office order, I realised I needed to find a permanent work-from-home arrangement. Fortunately, I landed a remote position as a Senior Customer Service Representative for the Agero Account.

Since then, I have truly embraced working from home, as it offers convenience and flexibility that suits my lifestyle. I can spend more quality time with my family, which is incredibly important to me, while also being able to work productively without the hassle of commuting. This balance has significantly improved my overall well-being.

With nearly 8 years of experience as a senior customer service representative, including the last 2 years in a remote capacity, I have developed a wide range of skills. My background also includes extensive experience as an Executive Service Representative for Arrivia, where I effectively managed customer enquiries, provided personalised travel solutions, and ensured a high level of client satisfaction through strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Working remotely has not only enhanced my self-discipline but also my adaptability to various situations. I’ve become proficient in numerous digital tools and CRM systems, enabling me to maintain accurate records and manage customer interactions efficiently. I enjoy the challenge of finding solutions to customer issues, and my goal is always to exceed their expectations.

Working from home offers a different experience compared to an office environment, but I am confident that this arrangement is ideal for both my family and me. Beyond providing financial support, I cherish the time I can dedicate to my loved ones, and remote work enables me to achieve that balance.

I am eager to further advance my career and continuously acquire new skills and knowledge, which I can apply to enhance both my professional and personal life. I look forward to embracing new challenges and opportunities that will allow me to grow in my field.
