Cecille Kristine Coronel – General Virtual Assistant

cecille-kristine-coronel-vaHello, I’m Cecille Kristine Coronel, a single parent currently residing in the Philippines with my 7-year-old daughter. My educational journey led me to earn a degree in Information Technology from AMA Computer University, Philippines. Two years post-graduation, I embarked on a new chapter, seeking opportunities in the Middle East. With the unwavering support of my family and friends, I successfully secured a role as an IT Administrator in a small business in Muscat, Oman.

Life in the Middle East proved to be challenging, as anticipated. Being far from my family made the initial year of working abroad emotionally demanding. However, I gradually adapted and embraced the local culture with open arms.

After two years, I transitioned into a Billing and Accounts role within the legal industry, a move that significantly expanded my skills in accounting and administration. With the guidance of my managers, I excelled in various aspects of this role, particularly in handling accounting tasks such as Billing/Invoicing, Accounts Receivables and Payables, and Tax Submission Assistance. In addition to these responsibilities, I was entrusted with assisting the legal team in various administrative and IT tasks, ensuring smooth operations and meeting deadlines.

With a diverse skill set combining IT, Accounting, and Administration, I have the ability to identify processes that can streamline our work, enhancing efficiency without compromising accuracy. This proficiency has granted me the opportunity to mentor and train our staff in the implementation of improved processes. Working in an international setting has significantly improved my communication skills through collaboration with colleagues from different countries.

cecille-kristine-coronel-vaThe pandemic brought about numerous personal and professional lessons. Reflecting on these, I rearranged my priorities, leading to a significant decision. After more than 12 years with the company, I decided to leave my stable job and make a substantial move back to the Philippines. The aim is to explore opportunities for remote jobs, acknowledging the potential positive impact not only on my life but especially on my daughter’s and those around me.

As a newcomer in this industry, I approach the future with excitement, eager to explore, learn new skills, and gain knowledge. My ultimate goal is to become a valuable asset to a company, fostering professional growth while cherishing quality time with my loved ones.
