Christian Bacho – Customer Service Representative, Fraud Analyst

Hi! My name is Christian Bacho but you can call me Tantan, that’s my nickname. For the past 3 years, I’ve been working with BPO companies where I improved and honed my skills, which has been a great experience. I’ve gained a lot of confidence in assisting customers and solving their problems with specific products.

My first job was with Amazon where I helped customers troubleshoot their appliances through calls, chats, and emails. It was a great experience until my salary could no longer support my daily lifestyle, so I began searching for a new job. Fortunately, after a month, I was hired as a customer service representative at a credit card company where I handled many cardholder accounts and was trusted with their confidential information to assist them. That job lasted for a year, and then I was transferred to the fraud department where I investigated possible fraud transactions and account takeovers.

I am very happy with my job, and the salary is better than my previous role. However, I feel the need to go further and seek more opportunities outside this industry, which is why I am striving to be hired as a virtual assistant.

Living with my partner for two years has been wonderful, and we’re planning to start a family soon. However, working onsite is challenging, as our home is far from the company, and commuting every day can be exhausting. I wish to have a job that allows me to work freely from home while still being there for my family. I’m 23 years old, and I have no regrets about any decision I’ve made in life. I believe in the saying, “No man is an island.” With the support of my coaches, colleagues, leaders, and friends, I will continue to improve and have a better career, which will ultimately help me support others along the way.
