Christine Sabina C. Bisnar – CSR and General Virtual Assistant

christine-sabina-portraitHello! My name is Christine Sabina A. Caoili but you can call me Sabina. My nickname is Crissa – it was taken from my first name.

I am 27 years old. I was born on August 20, 1991 in Cotabato City but I was raised in Davao City. I love singing and dancing which I was able to pursue during my grade school and high school years. I also love writing poems and letters, especially for my parents. We are 6 children in the family and I am the 5th child. We are 5 girls and 1 boy. My mum is a housewife and my dad is a car dealer. We were all raised to always love, respect and help others which made it easier for us to become better individuals. We have a very big family which makes home a happy and fun place. Right now, I have 5 nephews and 1 niece, since both of my sister are already married.

I graduated from one of the highly regarded State Universities in Davao which is University of Southeastern Philippines. I graduated with the course of Bachelor of Arts in English major in Language. This was not actually my chosen course because I really wanted to study Culinary Arts. My parents would not allow me to pursue Culinary Arts since the schedule was at night. Funny isn’t it? So I did not have a choice but to take up the course of AB – English, and not knowing that was also my sister’s course so we ended up being at the same class for 4 years, imagine that! I did not pursue teaching at all. With all honesty, I never regretted taking the course, because I enjoyed it and fit in with it along the way.

christine-sabina-with-petsAfter graduating from College I applied for a job and luckily I was able to get the position of Customer Service Representative in a BPO Industry. I stayed with the company for 3 years. I can say that my first company molded me well. When I wanted to try a different job, I moved to another company that led me as Virtual Assistant for few years as well. I never want to stop learning from the new things that I do. I am always eager to give my full potential, no matter how pressured I am. I always want to hit my goal no matter how hard it is. That’s my fighting spirit!

In life, we all came to a point of having our own family. After a few years of working, I decided to settle down with my ex-lover who now I call my husband last year in December. We have something in common that makes us a good match. We love dogs! My husband is also a Professional Virtual Assistant in one of the BPO’s here in Davao City. We only had one child but unfortunately he was only able to live for few days. 🙁 I was full of despair and sorrow but then God made me realise that everything happens for a reason. I know that He planned something that is better for us. That serves as my inspiration in life. Although there are times that I missed my son every single day most especially seeing a mum with her baby. It always filled my heart with sadness and tears. Whenever I feel that way, I always call upon God to comfort me. I am thankful that my husband and my family are always there to enlighten me and to make me feel better.

My experiences in life made me stronger. God showed me that He never failed to surprise us with His blessings. Without any expectation, I was invited to go abroad to study and pursue my preferred course in Finland which is Culinary Arts and work at the same time. Going abroad was our goal in the first place. Up until now it feels like I’m on cloud nine. I will be leaving the country soon and will stay there for few years and will let my husband follow.

If given a chance to work with you, I believe that I will be an asset to your team because my skills fit the position you are looking for. This is my story. 🙂
