Claudette Annejelene Umbal – Customer Service Representative, Production Associate

Hi! My name is Claudette Annejelene Umbal, but you can call me Anj. I am a wife and a mother of two.

I completed my secondary education in 2008, but due to financial constraints, I was unable to pursue college. However, that didn’t stop me from striving for success. At the age of 18, I started my career as a Production Operator at Lima Technology in Batangas. Although the job was tough and demanding, I enjoyed working because it allowed me to support myself financially.

In June 2016, I took on a new challenge and joined an American manufacturing company in Batangas as a Production Associate. I dedicated nearly seven years to this role, gaining valuable industry experience and honing my ability to adapt to challenges. However, in May 2023, I made the difficult decision to resign to focus on taking care of my children.

In 2024, I decided to transition into the BPO industry, aiming for a work-from-home setup to balance my professional and personal life. Fortunately, I was hired by Teleperformance as an Operations Customer Expert for a healthcare account. Although this was a new field for me, I embraced the learning curve and gained essential customer service skills. Unfortunately, I had to resign in January 2025 when my role was put on floating status. I declined a reassignment to a different account since it did not offer remote work.

Currently, I am seeking a remote opportunity where I can continue developing my communication skills and grow professionally. I am particularly interested in roles that will allow me to apply my customer service expertise while also exploring opportunities in virtual assistance. I am a fast learner, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a team’s success.
