Danna Antoinette B. Lu – Sales Executive

So basically, I am a Manila girl. I was born and raised in Manila.

I have two brothers. My parents separated when I was just a little girl and they are not on good terms. I grew up with my grandma who taught me how to read and write. She took care of me as if I was her own. Now that I am all grown up, I managed to have my own apartment. My grandma recently had a fracture and I took her in so that I could take care of her.

I was a working student back in college. I worked at Results Company as a customer service officer for AT&T so that I can help my mum with my tuition fees. I was working at night as an agent and went to school in the morning. During my junior year in college, I transferred to Teleperformance where I handled technical support. This was a morning shift so I talked to my professors and told them about my situation that I needed to work for me to pay my tuition fee. They were thoughtful enough to understand. After my morning shift, I just sent my paperwork for school via email and it worked out well.

Thankfully, I was able to graduate with a degree in Bachelor of Science Major in Tourism. While waiting for a job opportunity in an airline company, I worked at Software Farm Inc. as a Marketing Specialist. I did cold calling and brought revenue to the company. I also manned our booths since we do exhibitions at SMX as well.

My dream was to become a flight stewardess, but things changed when I was blessed with a baby boy. I decided to work from home so that I could focus on my son since I am exclusively breastfeeding him. So this is basically my short life story.
