Helen Beniasan – Executive Assistant

Helen-Joy-Beniasan-vaI started working as a Virtual Assistant when I finished school in college.

It was hard for me to adjust because it was new to me and I am not familiar with the tools that they’re using but I learned.

I started a job when I was in my first year of college. I have been a working student since the start of my schooling. My family didn’t have enough money for me to send me to school so I started applying for a job and started as a cashier in a fast-food chain and enrolled myself in a University. I worked with six employers in 4 years while studying until I graduated, it was a tough journey, to be honest. I worked as a service crew, student assistant, Call center Agent, and ESL Teacher for me to pay my tuition.

The others are lucky because they have the money to go to school unlike me but I was so thankful that I experienced this kind of situation for me to be strong and I know how important education is. I am the eldest of the family. I became an inspiration to my brother so he started working and enrolled in a University and now he also finished his schooling at last.

Working as a Virtual Assistant is good, I gained a lot of positions and skills from my past Clients. I worked hard until the company awarded me as one of their best employees. I learned in life that I can do a lot of things just by putting my heart into it. You will also feel if the job is right for you or not, especially that I’ve been through a lot of jobs that are not even related to what I finished.

I got married in the middle of my schooling. We were not planning to have kids at that time so we waited until I finished school. The marriage didn’t stop me from following my dream, in fact, I became a better student when I got married that time. It’s good that you are so independent because not everybody can help you solve things just like you wanted to be.

Helen-Joy-Beniasan-vaOne more thing is that I am good with what I am doing, even from the start they always compliment me in my previous jobs because I am so good and responsible with what I am doing every day. I handled cash and financial responsibilities, Office work, Customer service, and a Teacher.

Since I already know that I can do a lot of things I tried to apply as an executive assistant from my latest employer which is Virtual Assistance and that is how I learned everything.

I have my Bachelor’s degree of Arts in Music and obtaining my Master’s degree in Public Administration. I have experience working with different clients when it comes to the Real Estate business and more. I worked as their Transaction Coordinator, Executive Assistant, and Admin Assistant. I am good at keeping documents, contracts, transaction management, social media management, lead management, database management, email management, and any more administrative tasks.

I love doing multi-tasks because that’s how I learned my skills. Since I have experience working with multiple clients, I am very sure that I can do all my skill set at the same time by time management. When I was in college I worked also in the Library office and Human Resources office as their assistant. I tried working in a call center also for less than a year in an insurance account as their back-office support. I also have a Certificate for Client Performance Award, Certificate of Recognition, and Certificate of Training for VA skills from my previous company. At this moment, I am willing to work immediately and have experience working in the Australian industry and I am so excited to work with you soon.
