Kuzivakwashe Fungai Kahari – Virtual Assistant

My name is Kuzivakwashe Fungai Kahari but you can call me Fungai. I am a passionate youth advocate and a multiskilled virtual assistant currently living in Johannesburg, South Africa. My entry into the virtual assistance realm was not something I had planned, but life has a way of unfolding in unexpected yet meaningful ways. Throughout the years, I have found great fulfilment in working remotely, supporting businesses, entrepreneurs and non-profit organisation and making a lasting impact through leveraging my skills.

My professional journey started with a deep passion for helping people achieve their goals and a sense of organisation, communication, and efficiency. I have constantly been drawn to roles that allow me to streamline processes, enhance procedures, and help teams achieve their goals. My skills extend to inbox management, calendar scheduling, data entry, social media management, file organisation, and project coordination.

Also, I work hand-in-hand with various local and international youth-led non-profit organisations where I contribute to youth advocacy and social impact initiatives. Additionally, I am part of the Youth Advisory Board for 16 Strong, an organisation focused on mental health and resilience. These experiences have given me the opportunity to make an overall social impact and contribute to causes that lie close to my heart

Throughout my professional journey, I have lived by the principle that I have that understanding that an organisation’s culture and values are key to fostering a productive and positive work environment. I believe that a strong work ethic, accountability, and a commitment to continuous learning are essential in achieving long-term success. No challenge is too big when approached with determination, adaptability, and the willingness to grow.

I can attest, working remotely has helped me balance my desire to make a difference with my professional development. I intend to broaden my skill set, contribute to meaningful projects, and refine my expertise in order to better serve organisations and people around the world.
