Hi, my name is Maricel and I love being called Cel for short. I am a mom of 3 kids and the breadwinner of the family.

2008 was the year I started working in the retail industry. I worked for more than eight years as a Sales Demo where I learned how to be more competent in terms of sales and how to provide excellent customer service. After years of working in the retail industry, I chose to continue my studies and pursue my college degree.

Last 2020, I graduated with a Bachelors’s Degree in Business Administration major in Operations Management. Those years were really a hard time for me because I was a working student and a working mom at the same time. But through my hard work and dedication, I successfully finished my college degree.

After that, I thought of ways on how to be more productive at home because we are on lockdown. And gladly, I heard about freelancing and virtual assistant services. I enrolled myself in different pieces of training and courses that will help me increase my skills and knowledge in this field. First, I enrolled in the Filipino Virtual Assistant and took their freelancing course which includes social media management, search engine optimization as well as lead generation.

I also enrolled in the IFF Academy and learned bookkeeping which specializes in using Xero. Back then, I heard of the VA Bootcamp. I also joined their group and enrolled in Bookkeeping, E-commerce, and Virtual Assistant courses. I love the support and the community of this group but I really wanted to improve my skills in Accounting and Bookkeeping because this is my chosen niche.

I enrolled in the Filipina Homebased Moms which specializes in Accounting and Bookkeeping and that was the time that I earned my certification as a ProAdvisor in Quickbooks and Xero on March 26, 2021.

After enrolling in different courses and training I am now capable of providing my service to small e-commerce business owners as well in the field of the construction business.
