Mark Morales – Customer Service Representative, Lead Generation

mark-jason-morales-vaComputer is my passion. Some of my friends even call me a “Tech Geek”. Although I am not, I just love computers. One of my past times is playing computer games with my kids. I have a 21 year-old daughter and a 7 year-old son.

I am a pet-lover. In fact we have 1 Siamese cat and 2 Labrador dogs. One of my family’s bonding is when we bathe our dogs; I always see to it that everyone must have a fair share of responsibility in taking care, not just our pets but to the entire household.

I started my career as a kitchen steward in Saudi Arabia in 2005 and was promoted as a Team Leader after more than a year. The year after, I became the Supervisor. In 2009, I was given an opportunity to work at Ramada Hotel and Suites as the Chief Steward in Saudi Arabia. And in 2012, I was given an opportunity to work in Dubai, UAE in a group of restaurants as Chief Steward and managing more than 60 staffs for 13 restaurants. Eventually, one famous Italian Restaurant brand opened in Dubai and offered me an opportunity to be part of their pioneering team. I stayed with them until 2017 as the Head of the Stewarding Division maintaining their three 400-seater restaurants with the observance of the HACCP and ISO Standards.

mark-jason-morales-vaIn 2017, I joined a firm of Food and Beverage consultants recommending re-branding whenever necessary including menu modification or creation (marketability, ease of presentation, production cost, quality and authenticity, pricing) and re-designing the restaurant to align with the agreed re-branding. Creating an efficient layout of the restaurant to drive down the cost. Preparing sales and profit projections including setting up of strategic budget for a year ahead or depends on the owner’s requirements. Assisting and performing Social Media Marketing such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and other local platforms in the country. By the end of 2018, me and my wife decided for me to come home for the sake of our children specially our youngest.

I started working in the BPO industry under a health care insurance account in 2019. My task include calling prospects for a free DNA test for cancer patient’s family. On that same year, I was given an opportunity to become a Virtual Assistant doing Telemarketing, Lead Generation, Appointment Setting and Cold Calling for a Real Estate Investor as my first client and to a Realtor under Keller Williams Realty as my second client.
