Paulene Ann Pinuela – ID Management Specialist

Hi Everyone! I’m Paulene Ann Fuentes–Pinuela, please call me Pau. I’m 36, a wife, a mom of three wonderful kids, and an aspiring careerwoman hoping that I can provide for my family in the comfort of my home and seeing them every day, not missing a milestone is a privilege that I am always grateful for.

My college life is nothing fancy, typical stubborn student living the extremes, falling in love, and boom! Kindly don’t judge me for my past. I believe everyone deserves a chance to change and one thing I can assure you of, I work to the best of my capabilities for my children’s future.

Since I was a teenager, I have been exposed to clerical and legal work because of my mom who is a practising CPA and Lawyer who passed away in the year 2020 just months after my dad. I also have experience being a fast food crew and a staff for a mini computer shop.  These minor jobs I believe nurtured my social skills and I know that I can use these experiences for my future self.

I always envisioned myself working in front of a computer assisting people or processing documents, so a call center job has always been in my  option for job application.  I accidentally bumped into a person in a mall and she asked me if I had spare time and if I wanted to try to apply to this company.  That moment I started to believe that if that something was for you, it would find a way. On the same day, I got a job order. Such a destiny!

I worked as a Customer Service Associate for almost a year, then a job opportunity for an internal post opened. I did not hesitate to apply and fortunately, I was promoted to a Workforce Specialist as an intern, then endorsed to a permanent post after four months. During this time,  I’ve been a real-time specialist managing schedules and SLAs for a healthcare account for 4 years and it unlocked another career milestone on my list. Back then, I was eyeing an admin task management position so I decided to apply for ID Management Specialist Even though the role is for a lateral post, I instantly grabbed the offer. With this role, my administrative task skills, organizational process, and precision of process have been optimized and I am delighted to be a part of it.

The pandemic might be the most unexpected event happened to us but as everything has its pros and cons, it opened an opportunity to boost the remote industry which is a blessing in disguise for me. It let me return to my home province without losing work and be with my mom for a few months before she passed away. I may lose a big part of myself being attached to the social world for I was working at home but I won’t miss it for the world as I can be with my family most of the time, a big privilege that I am always grateful of.

Now here I am exploring the other parts of remote industry. The goal is to provide helpful and informative responses to inquiries and engage in meaningful conversations. A one-stop live assistant that is super reliable with almost everything, business, and personal assistance that is not overstepping boundaries. Eventually, it boils down to the goal which is to be a reputable, consistent, and trustworthy resource that users can turn to for assistance in various aspects of their lives and also with integrity in all we do.
