Rowell Bustos – Customer Support, Administrative Assistant

My name is Rowell Bustos, a devoted husband and father of six. I enjoy outdoor activities, such as hiking in Baguio during summer and watching sunsets at the beach. Faith is important to me, and I pray five times a day. I hold a bachelor’s degree in computer programming from Republic Central Colleges Pampanga. Aside from that I also took a BEED and BSBA courses but was unable to finish those courses due to financial issues at that time.

My twin sister and younger brother currently reside in the UK and they want me to go there as well but I prefer having a job in the Philippines while spending my free time with my wife and children as they grow. I am Multilingual, speaking both Ilokano and Kapampangan because my mother is from Ilocos part of Cordillera region while my father is from Angeles Pampanga.I have also a strong command of spoken and written Arabic due to my two-year study abroad. While I attended a Chinese school as a child, I didn’t have the opportunity to learn Mandarin.

I enjoy spending time with friends, whether it’s playing billiards or going on motorcycle trips to explore the countryside. These nature adventures are a great way to relax and appreciate the beauty of the world. As a matter of fact, I am also the President of our motorcycle club which is the United Maharlikan Riders Club. Our members are composed of different personalities, ages and religions. We enjoy the company of each individual and their knowledge in terms of motorcycle modification, repair, electrical and technical parts. Our members share a passion for motorcycles camaraderie no matter the differences. Sometimes we also provide support to our community, including those affected by disasters like fires, blood donation drives and also some medical mission assistance.

My two-decade career has included technical and administrative roles. I’ve worked as a GSM technician for Nokia for 6 years and as an administrative assistant in the Ministry of Saudi Arabia for another 6 years. Since returning to the Philippines, I’ve been employed at Google Philippines under Concentrix Inc., serving in various capacities, including technical and customer support. Currently, I am a quality analyst, basically working on a continuous process of evaluating and identifying key behaviors and defects that drive, or reduce, sales, and improve customer experience.

I am seeking a career as a virtual assistant. My previous work experience, technical proficiency and strong communication skills make me a valuable asset to any team. I hope to secure a position that can financially support my family as my children grow. My primary fear is not being able to provide for my family. To address this, I’m focusing on their education and instilling strong moral values.
