Russell Rose Talingting – CSR and eCommerce Management
Let me be a part of your company’s success!
I have a demonstrated history of working in the outsourcing/offshoring industry. I am skilled in technical support, customer service, recruitment and administrative assistance. I can perform a wide range of admin tasks, have a strong work ethic, am reliable with a “go-gettem” personality.
Other than working and making it happen, I love traveling, relaxing on the beach and a good cup of coffee.
I grew up in a small town, where I was an only child for 7 years – so I’d say those were the happiest times. 🙂 Mainly because I got all the attention, gifts and surprises!
Then, after a few years a younger brother, and 2 younger sisters came along. Thankfully, we grew up close to each other and rarely have fights – so it was nice growing up with them.
I studied Bachelor Science Psychology at the University of San Jose Recolletos in the Philippines. I was very competitive during my college years, yet I am an easy, outgoing person who loves discovering and trying out new things.
I jump-started my career in the BPO industry handling customer service as a support specialist. I have always been a person who doesn’t want to be micromanaged, but unfortunately, that normally happens when you work in a BPO industry!
I gave birth to a healthy baby boy who I immediately fell in love with and who I am kind of obsessed with – so I want to be around him 24/7. 🙂 Because of the desire to be with my child, I took a risk and ventured into the “remote worker community”.
I had the pleasure of working with my first US-based client as his executive VA and recruiter. I also performed a number of project-based jobs which contributed to the development of not just my technical and computer skills, but also my interpersonal skills. I learned to manage my time well, work with less supervision and developed a need to excel at any given task.
Apart from focusing on my career development, I am a single mum by choice. It is never easy, but it’s one of the best decisions I ever made in my life. I would give anything if it meant I could give my child a complete family, but I’ll never do that if by any chance it can hurt my baby in any way.
Working and being a full-time mum instills a sense of determination. That for me, makes me want to not depend on anyone and to strive further… because at the end of the day I want to do what is best for my son, and I need to give it my all!
I enjoy what I’m doing right now and I always keep in mind, “Good things come to those who hustle”.
