Matt Johnson – Digital Creator

My name is Matt Johnson, and I like to think of myself as a Digital Creator and your partner in creative expression and technical support.

I love working in the infinite possibility of the online space and helping people develop and express their online presence and their unique voice, including (but not limited to) the design of websites and graphics, social media management and content creation, video editing, and email marketing design and automation.

After first receiving a Diploma of Graphic Design and later a Diploma of Digital Media Technologies, my career background so far has centered around digital creation, graphic design, digital printing, office support, account management, and customer service.

I have a genuine passion for connecting with people, I love to listen, and I have what I like to think of as a gentle nature.

I also pride myself on diligence, loyalty, and empathy, having worked full time in customer facing roles in the digital printing and promotional product industries for over 11 years across 3 different companies. This included liaising with overseas suppliers which often brought challenges of time zone differences and language barriers.

In 2019, I decided to leave my full time employment and focus on self employment and building my own freelance creative business, offering my unique skills and talents in creative expression and technical support with the intention of saving people time, money, and energy.

I believe that everyone has their own unique skills and talents to offer, and by working together and supporting each other we create an ease and flow in our work processes and communications. If I can use my skills and talents to take on some work that you don’t want to be doing, then that frees you to focus more on the work that you enjoy and being the most effective at what you do!

My clients often like to refer to me as a Magician because whether it’s visual design work, technical support, or business administration tasks, all they have to do is tell me what they are wanting to achieve and I make it appear, just as they envisioned, like magic!

I feel that my recent experience as a creative freelancer, working remotely, managing my own projects, clients and accounts along with my previous employment experience means that we could be a good fit for working together.
