Angelic Tesio – Bookkeeper, Administrative Assistant

angelic-tesio-vaHi! I am Angelic L. Tesio and I am from the Philippines. I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science and Accountancy. I have a legal background from taking my Juris Doctor degree with the aid of my online freelancing career.

The pandemic has affected me so much that I was one of the many workers in the Philippines that got laid off. But I took a leap of faith and it led me to being a virtual assistant.

I came from commuting for day-to-day work and being in a four-walled office doing paper works, balancing the statements of accounts, reconciliation, and facing clients each day to working within the comforts of my own home. Working as a finance virtual assistant gave me a better work-life balance.

At that point, I did the groundwork in establishing my career being an accountant, an administrative assistant, finance and payroll, social media management, social media marketing, training, and coaching individuals, basic Canva designs, content management, content writing, content editor, data entry, email support, and scheduling.

Also, being a virtual assistant developed some of my qualities such as being reliable, proactive, creative, and an individual striving for excellence in every undertaking that I encounter. These were just a few of the qualities that made me distinguishable from other VA’s.

angelic-tesio-vaWith few years of my experience, it helped me understand the client’s expectations and the importance to communicate well with the client in order to be my client’s hero and to provide solutions to the client of the difficulties that I may encounter.

Truly, in this progressing virtual world I am still a work-in-progress and am still developing myself by acquiring new skills and expertise to be the best Virtual Assistant that I can be in the future.
