Quennie Edquilag – Sales and Marketing

queenie-edquilag-vaHi, I am Quennie Edquilag, you can call me Quen/Queen. I graduated with a degree in Business Administration majoring in Marketing Management.

I love to sing when I’m bored hehe (it’s my stress reliever), write in my journal, and read leadership books. I love to read books, especially about life, business, saving tips, and motivational readings. I play badminton when I have free time and I make sure I have quality time with my family. I’m the youngest child amongst my two siblings and I always live by my self-motivation – Your decision to succeed RESTS in YOU.

I started out working as a sales associate for a food manufacturing company, dealing with suppliers, monitoring day-to-day company sales, understanding consumer behaviors and needs, other administrative work such as filing of budget, and paperwork. Then along came a part time opportunity for me to work remotely. It was not an easy decision since this is a new environment, full of unknown factors involved but I took the leap and chose to work home-based as a part-timer. I believe that the period I spent in sales and marketing management has prepared me for the opportunity to be an outstanding Virtual Assistant.

Surprisingly, it didn’t take long for me to be able to adapt to the new environment. I built my experience through client support, marketing and promotions, social media marketing, reporting, scheduling, and digital marketing. I learn fast and can cross function within the queenie-edquilag-vacompany. I can work well alone or with a team. Being a hardworking and responsible individual that strives for excellence in my work, an excellent team player, goal-oriented, keen to details, resourceful, eager to learn new things in life, and equipped with different set of skills and knowledge makes me an outstanding Virtual Assistant.

As time goes by, adapting to the company’s culture is important, plus your integrity. Your dedication and passion in your work and the right mindset, your openness to feedback, and asking for help when needed will help you to overcome all the difficulties along the way.
Working from home is convenient and you have so much time for your family. Different from being at an office.
I aim to grow further with my career and learn more skills and knowledge along the way to better myself and apply them to both my work and life.
