Jonathan Camua – Customer Service Representative, Administrative Assistant
Hi! I’m a Marketing Management graduate. I enjoy watching movies, especially new releases, because they help me to relax and unwind after a long day. I also like playing online games (Valorant, Mobile Legends) as a fun way to connect with others and destress. But most of the time, you’ll find me at the gym because fitness has become a big part of my life, because it keeps me healthy, both physically and mentally. It’s a way to push myself, stay disciplined, and maintain focus in other areas of my life too.
Family is incredibly important to me, and they’ve shaped the person I am today. I was raised by my mom, who is a single parent. She’s honestly my hero, you know why? For raising four kids on her own was no easy task. She made so many sacrifices to ensure that we had what we needed, and I’ll always be grateful for that and not all my siblings had the chance to finish college, but we all appreciate the values she instilled in us. For me, finishing my degree was a big achievement, and I really worked hard as a student, juggling multiple jobs to pay for my tuition and living expenses. Looking back, I’m proud of the independence and resilience I developed during that time when I was still in college.
Right now, my goal is to find a remote job working from home would allow me to stay close to my family while also saving time and energy from commuting. I know many people are shifting to remote work because of its flexibility and it’s something I value a lot. For someone like me, who manages responsibilities at home, it would make a huge difference in my life nowadays.
One of my biggest fears is rejection during job applications because it can be discouraging, but I remind myself that every “no” brings me closer to the right “yes”. And another fear I have is not being able to support my mom. She relies on me for her medications, and you what I take my role as the breadwinner very seriously since my siblings have their own families now, so I try not to depend on them for help.
Every day, I make an effort to apply for as many jobs as I can. I’m hopeful that I’ll find the right opportunity in a role where I can grow, contribute meaningfully, and achieve a good balance between work and family life. I know that hard work and persistence will pay off, and I’m ready to give my best.
