Kazandra Margaret Mendoza – Executive Assistant, RE Virtual Lead Manager

Hi, I am Kazandra Margaret Mendoza, you can call me Kaz/Kazandra/Kim. I am a mother of 1 lovely boy. I graduated with a degree in Political Science from Ateneo de Davao University. A few years back, working remotely for clients outside my country was still not a thing, but I have always been interested in other cultures which became one of the things that encouraged me to switch to my current industry.

I started out as a personal assistant in the construction sector, handling tasks like scheduling, email management, permits, and client coordination. My first job is what built my foundation and enhanced my skills when it comes to customer service and admin work. Then I switched to the BPO industry, I was always been told that I speak well so having to converse in English was not a problem, transferring to a new environment was. It was having to shift from working in the morning to night, but eventually, I was able to, and I thrived in my new time slot.

And with my newfound confidence, I even took on being a Social Media Manager for a cafe for a couple of years. The challenge now was having to work more hours than expected but knowing myself I will always find a way to make it work so I get to deliver what is needed in the best quality possible.

Equipped with skills that I harnessed for years I eventually started my journey of working at home for clients, may it be in real estate, sales, IT or business. I was a Loan Processor, Virtual Lead Manager, Appointment Setter and an Executive Assistant. I took on all these roles not at the same time, but these were mainly what I was for my clients, so I got to help them in achieving their goals and succeed with flying colours.

I have worked with clients coming from the US, Australia, some European countries and even in India. My work is not just work for me, it is a journey and an experience to learn from individuals that I look up to. They not only teach me skills I can use to be more efficient, but life lessons too.

In my clients’ words, I am still a baby, I still have a lot to learn, and I am open to that. I love learning and will always do, it does not only make me a better worker/partner/assistant but as a person too.
