Kristine Gelacio – CSR and Administrative Assistance

I’m Kristine L. Gelacio. I am a single mum of two of the most feisty and smart 7 year-old daughter and 4 year-old son! I love them so much and I would do everything for my kids, and that is why I chose to venture into working from home because I want to see them grow and be present to guide them. I am very dedicated to giving them the best life possible. They fuel me to do the best I can to make it happen.

As a single mother, I have to face the everyday challenges in raising two kids. It is not easy but it’s a task that you have to take head on and it became my mantra that “I just have to get tougher” to overcome any bumps life has thrown at me. As a result, this made me become motivated to work harder to achieve my goals to be able to provide for them. I have to think of ways to make the most of what I have and be resourceful.

I used to work in an office setting but it became impossible to work efficiently when I had my second child and we can’t get a nanny to look after the baby. It was a downward spiral from then on financially. I lost my job and got evicted from our apartment because we were behind paying the rent. We had to move back and forth from living with my parents to living with my then partner’s parents which increased the stress and drama on our family. Money is really something when it comes to relationships. Luckily, with help from a few friends, we were able to get by and I landed my first home-based job. Taking baby steps, I was able to move forward from it all and I still am working towards the stability in life I am visioning for my kids. Looking back, I don’t know how I would have made it without those who were ready to lend a helping hand, and for that I am grateful for them.

I have been in the BPO industry since 2006 with a wide range of experience from handling sales, data entry, email/chat/phone support and a strong customer service and technical support background. I can easily adapt to a fast-paced environment and able to deliver on time. I am a team player but I can also work alone with minimum supervision.

I believe I will be a good addition to your team because I am very passionate to learn and take on challenges and conquer them as this gives me the satisfaction and drive to work harder. I aim to be a part of a company who gives their employees an opportunity to grow with the business and become the best version of themselves.
