Mae Joy Bacdayan – Real Estate Virtual Executive Assistant
Hi, my name is Mae Joy Bacdayan, you can call me Mae. Ever since I was young, I’ve always found joy in helping others. Whether it was organising family gatherings or lending a hand to a friend, being of service gave me a deep sense of purpose and fulfillment. Little did I know that this passion for helping would lead me to a career where I could make a meaningful impact every single day.
My professional journey began with a degree in Tourism Management from the University of the Cordilleras, where I learned the art of creating memorable experiences and fostering connections. After graduation, I began my career as a Customer Service Advisor at Concentrix for eBay UK Buy. This role taught me the power of patience, empathy, and effective problem-solving. I handled customer inquiries, resolved technical issues, and addressed complaints—all while maintaining professionalism and care. This experience sparked my drive to go above and beyond to make a difference.
In 2022, I transitioned into the real estate industry as a Virtual Executive Assistant for the Gurevich Real Estate Team at EXP Realty. In this role, I managed appointment coordination, transaction processes, and property and rental management. I prepared agreements and disclosures, liaised with landlords and tenants, and ensured all transactions were organised in platforms like Skyslope. Additionally, I implemented social media strategies to increase brand visibility, attracted agents, and created marketing materials to promote listings. I cherished the opportunity to support families in finding their dream homes and to contribute to the team’s growth.
Currently, I work as a Database Maintenance Specialist at Ray White Surfers Paradise Group (RWSP). My responsibilities include database cleaning, validating property information, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity. I also assist with lead generation, prepare rental applications, and create engaging property listings for platforms like Zillow, MLS, and StreetEasy. Beyond these tasks, I collaborate with agents to organise rental showings, design marketing materials, and maintain open communication with clients. This role has allowed me to hone my technical skills and ensure smooth operations within the team.
What drives me most is the belief that every little task, no matter how small, matters. Being a Virtual Assistant has taught me that reliability, adaptability, and attention to detail are the keys to making a meaningful impact. I strive to be someone my clients can rely on, helping them focus on their goals while I take care of the details.
Working from home has been a transformative experience for me. It has provided the flexibility to balance my professional and personal life while allowing me to create a productive environment where I can thrive. I am grateful for the trust my clients place in me and the opportunity to support them from anywhere in the world.
