Miguel Keiffer Guevarra – External Quality, Fraud Analyst

I’m Miguel Keiffer Guevarra, a graduate of BS in Information Technology. I am currently an NCII Holder – a certificate for completing a Computer Hardware Servicing Course. I am also a licensed Safety Officer.

I started working at an early age – right after graduating from college, I immediately applied for work. Majority of my job experience is based on customer support – whether it be via phone, chat or email.

I have worked for financial institutions such as Genpact, Capital One & HSBC – I handled all client account data such as explaining their bank statements, refunding fees & charges, approving advanced credit and increasing their credit limits. Besides working for a financial institution, I have also worked for a freelancing company that is very much similar to UpWork – where I started out as an Email Support Representative, then a few months after, I was promoted to becoming a Fraud Analyst (particularly as External Quality Analyst) and my role was to do extensive checking on documents that are being submitted to us, and monitoring projects that are presented by our users. I determined legitimate transactions from users handling KYC or Know Your Customer which is the Verification of user’s documents. I also became an internal QA or Quality Assurance for our team to make sure to have less margin of error. I also handled several worksheets, team presentations and on several occasions, I trained new hires for certain topics.

On the side, I also had experience as a part-time Virtual Assistant for an Air Conditioning company, and I was in-charged of creating proposals and appraisals for a client, listing inventories & product costings, invoicing via Saasu & Xero, monitoring of orders & deliveries, and customer support.

I love to learn and adapt. I always try to educate myself on new things to add to my skill set. I believe that we never stop learning as humans. I also love to hear people talk and learn from other people’s experiences, this way I pick up small learning from them and apply it to my own life to be better and be the better version of myself.

Having experienced that many at an early age, what motivated me was my kids as I became a father at an early age. They are my purpose & the reason why I am working hard.

Most Importantly, I respect every job or task I have. I always give my 101% to make sure that I did my best. I love to solve problems I face and help my company or client through my small ways. I also believe that open communication within a business will always go a long way. I am always willing to go the extra mile to accomplish my task and to make sure that I am providing great results to my clients.

During my days off, I go mountain biking or riding my motorcycle. I love to explore trails and also go on camping trips. I also love taking pictures of nature and documenting my trips. I edit videos with Adobe Premiere Pro and HitFilm Express and also love to create logos on Canva. I am also knowledgeable about Microsoft Office and Google Documents. After unwinding I mostly spend my time with my family.
