Winnie Capili – Customer Service Representative

winnie-capili-vaWINNER, the word I was named after by my mother. Hi! I am Winnie Capili, your hardworking and optimistic future employee.

I have 9 years of experience working with Australian, U.S, and Canadian companies. I have expertise in Email handling, Chat services, Calls (inbound and outbound). I also handle technical troubleshooting for hardware and software issues such as MS Office applications, Adobe Applications, SAP, Citrix, and others.

Let me tell you a story about why I was named after the word WINNER. I grew up in one of the poor families in the Philippines, but my mother worked so hard in order to send me to school. When I was in my last year of college, I became the breadwinner for my family because my mother got sick. This is when I entered the world of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and faced the reality of life.

winnie-capili-vaI started as a Customer Service Representative for an American healthcare insurance company. A few years after, I decided to upskill and worked as Technical Support Representative for an Australian Telco company. Now, I am working on the IT Service Desk for an IT company, and have been for 3 years now.

From my BPO career I was able to send my sister to college, support my entire family and finally establish my career even though I was not able to finish college. This is when I considered myself the winner! Being able to share and provide for my family was my greatest success.

Now that I am starting to build my own family, I want to learn more and work in the comfort of my home. I dream of being able to work efficiently and have a work-life balance, especially since I am now a mother of a precious little girl.

WINNERS are not those who never fail, but those who NEVER QUIT.
