allan-mendoza-vaHi! My Name is Allan Dominic Mendoza Jr. but you can call me Seth.

I could say that I almost stayed in only one Industry since the day I started working, I’m thankful enough that I have been part of the BPO Industry where I have learned a lot and met a lot of people that have touched my life in a positive way.

I was so naïve back then when I first stepped into the corporate world. I had a hard time speaking in English because it was not natural to me, but eventually, you just have to know that learning to use this language is the gateway for you to serve the people on the other side of the world.

I started my call center journey way back in 2006, under a Technical Support account. From then on, I learned how to take in calls with minimal supervision because there’s always a lot of calls coming in and all are busy with their own task. It was really fun and hard at the same time to work in the night shift, but I think it’s the people you work with that makes it worthwhile.

allan-mendoza-vaIt finally came at a time where I was promoted to handle a team. I underwent training to handle reports and how to deal with people under your wing. I thought even after working for quite some time now in this industry, that things would be easier, but I thought wrong. Handling different types of personalities was really a challenge and to add the reports and documentation that has to be done made me stay long hours in the office. Until I met certain people that guided my on how properly manage my team and my time.

I was really committed to inspiring people to find their reason in what they do so they could work with passion and purpose. Now that I have transitioned to work remotely, I’m sure it’ll be a different challenge and opportunity to improve myself.
