Angelica Herico – Virtual Assistant
Hi, I’m Angelica Herico, but feel free to call me Angel. I’m a proud mom to a beautiful baby girl, and being a mom has truly shifted my perspective on work and life. Before becoming a mom, I never thought twice about working on-site. However, as I grew older and embraced motherhood, I realised just how much of a blessing it is to work from home.
I started my career in 2017 as a Customer Service Representative, and over the years, I’ve learned how to communicate effectively, manage customer expectations, and always aim for solutions that benefit both the customer and the company. I transitioned into remote work in 2021, and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Not only has it allowed me to be more present with my family, but it also gave me the opportunity to grow professionally in ways I hadn’t expected.
In 2024, I took the leap into the role of a Virtual Assistant, and it opened up even more opportunities. I’ve supported customers by handling inquiries, troubleshooting issues, ensuring product and service accuracy, and providing continuous assistance across various channels. I’ve also worked on streamlining processes, resolving complaints, and building stronger customer relationships to improve overall satisfaction.
My strengths lie in my organisational skills, communication, and adaptability. I’m detail-oriented and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. I believe in listening to customers’ needs, empathising with their concerns, and finding solutions that make their experience smoother. I also enjoy working collaboratively but am comfortable handling tasks independently when needed.
What motivates me every day is the satisfaction I get from solving problems and making people’s lives easier. Helping others has always been the core of what I do, and customer service is the perfect platform for that.
When it comes to a dream client, I value mutual respect and teamwork. I want to work with clients who treat their team as partners, not just resources. I’ve always believed that a positive work culture leads to better results, and I enjoy being part of a team where we support and encourage one another.
The perfect job for me is one that allows me to use my customer service skills to make a meaningful impact while also maintaining a healthy work-life balance. I love growing in my career, but I also cherish the time I get to spend with my family. Working from home allows me to do both, and I’m excited to continue my career in this space.
