Archie Dumalag – Customer Service Representative

First and foremost, my name is Archie. My parents, close friends and some people that I grew up with call me “A”, which came from my first letter of my first name, Archie. It’s kind of funny being given such a name when my birth month is February!

I have worked in different jobs ranging from Customer Services (email and voice), Technical Support and Sales for both B2C and B2B as a Telemarketer from an Insurance Company before. I also have managed Cold calling teams providing Marketing Campaigns for a virtual inspection platform. I also worked as a Billing, Sales and Customer Retention from my previous companies.

I took Information technology Major in programming from a technical Vocational Course, here in Cagayan De Oro. After I graduated in the K-12 Program, Due to some financial issue, I was not able to procced to college like what friends did. Instead, I worked in the BPO Industry. This lead me to the world of taking calls and freelancing, which then molded me to what I am now and I was able to acquire more skills and talents as time went by.

During my spare time, I listen to music, watch movies, read books, and my top favorite is traveling. I wasn’t blessed to have a voice that can melt a woman’s heart. Whenever I sing, it starts to rain. I now believe in the saying that “you can’t have it all”. 😀. These things help me manage my stress at work and help me have a work-life balance.

I also play table volleyball and was lucky enough to be part of the team in my early years. I love dogs and cats so much that I often tell them my problems in life to them. I also enjoy going to the beach to unwind, take in some fresh air, and watch the sunrise and sunset.

When it comes to stress and pressure, I know I can deal with it. I’ve come to a point in my life where my patience and ‘mettle’ have been tested and I’ve come through successfully each time. As I grew older, I’ve learned to dedicate time for myself as well as the people that I love. This helps me to achieve a balanced life without getting burned out.

With a total of 2 years work experience in some of the most prestigious BPO Companies here in the Philippines, I’m sure to bring with me and apply all the best practices that I have learned to your organisation – and of course, I am still eager to improve and learn new things!
