Camille Elegado-Cruz – Personal Financial Consultant

I have spent the last three years developing my skills as a Financial Consultant and trainer where I was appreciated for my team-management and development skills. I have experience in managing all aspects of the Agency – from screening to implementation to hiring. I provided supervision and leadership to our Agency. I enjoyed being a lead with the opportunity to empower and motivate my team. Last year, I was awarded “Top Producer” twice for greatest team gains in productivity.

I have been responsible for advising strategies for clients in insurance coverage, investment planning, cash management and other areas to help them reach financial objectives. I have been responsible for telephone customer service, including sales, tech support, customer care and performing any other administrative duties as required. I also had 2 years experience as a Virtual Assistant with Univoip Systems Inc, located in Ottawa, Canada. I helped our clients in Canada, assisted with invoicing, creating quotes using company CRM and was in charge of the Porting Process. I worked in the office but I was allowed to work at home, so most of the time I was home-based.

I am a proud mother of two boys and a baby girl. And being a mother is the biggest honour that can be bestowed to a woman and the best job in the world! But raising them alone and taking care of the Family does not help pay the bills and allow me to grow in my career field of choice. I know it’s time to start thinking that I may face a career change in my field in the near future. I’ve experienced a lot of changes previously and I am not afraid of learning new and difficult things. The great thing to know about being a VA is that you can develop the skills that are needed in different Virtual Assistant tasks and grow the necessary knowledge as long as the disposition of becoming one is in you. I don’t want to get left behind, I can work as a VA without missing special moments with my children.

With over 6+ years in marketing, I’ve become well-versed in Social Media Management, Project Management, Content Creation, and Web design. I tend to be a Marketing Specialist, but a jack of all trades when it comes to understanding Digital Strategy. I currently work with small and medium-sized businesses as well as partnering with agencies and freelancers, and I’m here to help you navigate marketing. I’ve worked for a variety of busy people in a variety of demanding positions. Several organizations have recognized me as someone who can help them with project management, Front and Backend Administrative task and I have significantly raised brand awareness within the digital space, increased website traffic, and increased customer acquisition. In addition to being an educator for the brand, and web design, I also work as a graphic designer for creative businesses, speakers, and coaching companies in Australia, Singapore, and some regions of the USA.
