Camille Gonzales – General Virtual Assistant

camille-gonzales-vaHi, I am Camille Gonzales, you can call me Camille. I am a solo parent with a 5-year-old daughter. I graduated with a degree in Hospitality Management from Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology also known as EARIST. I started my career in the BPO industry ever since I had my child. The nature of my job was customer service representative, technical support, banking and finance, travel support analyst, billing analyst,  and recruitment coordinator. When I am out of work I usually manage our small business which is selling pre-loved items.

I have never thought of the day that I will be working in the corporate world since the moment I took my college course I always see myself working in the kitchen getting my hands filled with condiments and cooking food the people loved. I still think of the day that I will own my business in the food industry and that day I will manage to give the things I learned during my years of studying as a Culinary Arts student. For now, my focus is to excel in the career I have chosen which is working in the Virtual Assistant field to grow my path to the career I have been working so hard for.

In my previous job, I was the Subject Matter Expert and I handled a total of 32 agents to let them be knowledgeable of the product that we were assigned. I was in line to be the next Team Lead at that time since I was working so hard to manage them and at the same time work on such concerns from clients to agents.

camille-gonzales-vaOne thing I have enjoyed in this field of work is the knowledge it leaves me and the introduction of things I am not familiar with applied to my daily living. My experience in the BPO industry has allowed me to develop strong communication and customer service skills, which are essential in ensuring customer satisfaction. I am well-versed in handling financial transactions and have experience in processing bills, which has given me a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. My technical support experience has enabled me to diagnose and resolve issues effectively, ensuring minimal downtime for customers. Lastly, my experience as a travel consultant has honed my skills in handling customer requests and creating itineraries tailored to their needs.

Throughout my career, I have consistently received positive feedback from my superiors and colleagues for my work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. I am a quick learner, and a team player, and am always eager to take on new challenges to enhance my skills.
